CSIRT Development Program

Why did we create this program?

Scaling up national cybersecurity early warning capabilities

In the vast world of cyber risks, countless large and small organizations face constant threats. This stark reality highlights these organizations' urgent need for timely, informed awareness. Early warning is a proven way forward.

The enormity of the issue makes conventional responses seem insufficient. Even the smallest countries have tens of thousands of organizations facing cybersecurity risk. As national Computer Security Incident Response Teams (CSIRTs), you work tirelessly to notify entities about looming dangers, and it quickly becomes overwhelming due to the sheer scale of businesses and organizations in need. CSIRTs are forced to prioritize, and too many organizations are left vulnerable.

Is there a different, more efficient way to approach this immense task? We propose a bolder approach: pooling resources, knowledge, and capabilities to create a global early warning infrastructure that aids national CSIRT teams. This strategy is embodied in Arctic Hub – an early warning platform developed by Arctic Security. More than a tool, Arctic Hub could be a cornerstone in our defense against cyber threats, enabling the creation of scalable national cybersecurity notification systems and automating routine data collection.

Cybersecurity is a collective challenge requiring a coordinated response. The CSIRT Development Program embodies our commitment to this global response, aiming to equip cybersecurity teams with the resources needed to match the challenge's scale. We invite you to join us in this endeavor, harnessing our collective strengths to make the digital world safer.

Support for the members of FIRST Fellowship

At Arctic Security, we're committed to fostering stronger global cybersecurity, especially for those who are just setting their roots or are resource-constrained. The first year of the CSIRT Development program was a success, and we have a lot of heard positive feedback from those who joined.

To make this a reality, we're offering our commercial Arctic Hub software product, free of charge for a year to CSIRTs recognized with fellowship status by FIRST. This offer is valid from June 2023 through June 2024. Therefore, if you're a FIRST Fellow CSIRT/CERT, you can access Arctic Hub for free during this period. *

* Note: some of the current fellows are already using Arctic Hub; this offer only applies to those CSIRTs that aren’t already Arctic Security customers.

Support for all resource-constrained CSIRTs

We understand that newly established and resource-limited CSIRTs have to navigate tight budgets. As such, we're offering significant discounts to ensure access to excellent tools doesn't carve out a substantial portion of your financial plan.

If your CSIRT works with a modest resource pool, you can access Arctic Hub at a cost that respects your budgetary constraints. Contact us, and we will work out a personalized plan for your CSIRT.

CSIRTs should be free to channel their resources toward enhancing their cybersecurity prowess rather than worrying about the intricacies of software development and maintenance. Our mission is to provide you with the means to operate more efficiently and deliver better services without the burden of extensive in-house software development.

So, if you're keen to elevate the cybersecurity services you provide to your stakeholders, we invite you to connect with us. Let's make the digital world safer together.
